We currently offer 2 walking tour routes. When you think of Takachiho, the gorge probably comes to mind... but there’s so much more!

1 Amano-iwato Area

A half-day walking tour(5h), that will tak you to local but significant spots in the village. Deep dive into the mystical world of Takachiho village.

2 Historical Town Area

A half-day walking tour(5h), with a historian guide, for those who love history and are aeager to dive deeper into the world of myths and legends.

We’ll take you off the beaten track, away from the tourist spots. This tour is all about exploring the local life, guided by who truly knows the area...us.

If you’re keen to dive deeper into the history, we’ve also got an option to walk with a local historian who knows all the ins and outs.
