New-generation Japanese pianist Masaya Kamei performs in Sydney for the first time at Sydney Town Hall as the night event of JAPAN EXPO, the ultimate Japanese event in Australia.
Masaya Kamei was brought to worldwide attention in 2022 at the Long-Thibaud International Competition in France where he won First Prize and Audience Award. Also, he won the third prize at the Maria Canals International Piano Competition and became a semifinalist at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2022. He gained recognition in Japan when he won First Prize at the 43rd PTNA Piano Competition and the 88th Music Competition of Japan at the same time in 2019.

Furukawa Art Museum and Tamesaburo Memorial Museum ( Nagoya )
The Furukawa Museum of Art is located in a quiet residential area of Nagoya, and is an art museum that mainly exhibits Japanese paintings, and is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from a subway station.
The Tamesaburo Memorial Museum, a nationally registered tangible cultural property, is a purely Japanese-style residence built in 1934 (Showa 9), with a seasonal Japanese garden, a sukiya-style architecture, a tea room, and a mansion where you can enjoy a full-fledged tea ceremony. You can enjoy art such as installations that make use of the space.

The area is on a small hill in the eastern part of Nagoya and has enjoyed fame for moon viewing. With the establishment of the Kakuozan Nittaiji Temple, the town developed in the style of Higashiyama in Kyoto, and many historical buildings such as temples and shrines still exist.
The area acted as a back-room where Nagoya's businessmen gathered, Ryotei (Japanese-style restaurants), and villas, were built, as a result, while the arts took root in the culture of daily life.
Kakuozan's shopping street is where old traditions and new creators live and breathe in harmony and a popular tourist area on the approach to Nittaiji Temple. The relaxed atmosphere of the town makes it one of the most popular places to live in Nagoya.

Carrying on the History of the Nishiyama Bekken
Opened in 1943, Nishiyama Bekkan is a historic and beloved guest house in Onomichi. Its history has been preserved, not only in terms of the building but also furniture, lighting, tea ceremony utensils, hanging scrolls, and tableware. Some are in their original form, some have been restored, and other things have been repurposed, but we cherish all of them. For example, wood that used to be part of an alcove has been turned into room keys, and some roof tiles have been put to use as design materials for the entrance. We hope that these efforts will help to preserve Onomichi culture and put the skills of Japanese artisans on display for guests.

Sake - Kobe Shunshin kan
Sake as fine as ours can only be made by starting with the finest koji (malted rice). The brewers at Fukuju carefully produce the koji by hand in koji muro (special cultivation room), using processes perfected over centuries of practice.
Fukuju selects only the best rice, cultivated by farmers in the northern region of Mt. Rokko, where Japan's finest rice is grown. The water we use, called Miyamizu, has long been regarded as ideal for sake brewing.
Our inventive approach allowed us to pioneer sake making in the Nada region. Our location fosters great sake, while generations of dedication ensure consistent standards of quality. Commitment to our craft and pure natural ingredients result in a taste that is fresh and clear.
Sake - Daiishichi
Established in 1752 (the 2nd year of the Horeki period), Daishichi Sake Brewery has always insisted on a strictly orthodox brewing tradition: the kimoto method. Daishichi’s rich, mellow sakes are all outstanding examples of kimoto sake. Daishichi’s history began when the Ohta family moved from the old Ise province to Nihonmatsu. The current head is the 10th generation. Daishichi’s sakes come to life at a meal and form perfect pairings with fine food. Feted by the world, they have opened a new chapter in the history of superb sake.

Following the Prevention of Fire Legislation, advancement in skills and techniques led to in increase in construction in concrete, not only for temples and shrines, but for buildings all over the world. Naturally, this is called for a need in various innovation within our company.
