Ryotaro's Hidden Gem Journeys
Hailing from the vibrant city of Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture, Ryotaro embarked on a bold journey early in life. After completing junior high school, he made the courageous decision to move to the United States alone to pursue high school education. His thirst for knowledge and global experience led him to Richmond University in the United Kingdom, where he earned his degree.
After graduating from university, Ryotaro further expanded his horizons by working as an IT engineer in Germany and Australia. His international experience broadened his perspective and honed his technical skills, setting the stage for his future endeavors.
Returning to Japan in 1999 after a decade abroad, he quickly established himself in the competitive world of foreign banks and securities companies. In 2006, driven by his passion for bridging cultures and fostering growth, he founded LifeBridge Co., Ltd. in his hometown, Sendai.
As a trailblazer in inbound tourism, he has conducted transformative training and lectures across Japan. His creative vision has also led him to produce numerous regional revitalization videos for the popular YouTube channel "Abroad in Japan," created by Chris Broad.
In April 2020, Ryotaro expanded his influence by launching his own YouTube channel, "Ryotaro's Japan," where he continues to showcase the beauty and culture of Japan to a global audience. A true digital pioneer, he plays a pivotal role in Japan’s tourism promotion as a YouTuber and Instagrammer.
His contributions extend beyond the digital realm, serving as a Cool Japan producer for the Cabinet Office, and the Chairman of the Miyagi Regional Revitalization DMO.
