Product Description
During the Edo period, goldfish breeding progressed, and they became popular as gifts and status symbols. Goldfish were also presented as gifts to shoguns and feudal lords, and their rarity and beauty earned them a high reputation, making them more than just ornamental fish, they also played an important role in cultural exchange and social influence.
Thinking back to that era, I expressed the charm of goldfish in a two-dimensional form. I believe that by expressing the unique shape and color of goldfish using pressed flowers, a natural material, I have created a unique piece of work.
