Pressed flower artist：TAE KAWAGOE

Born in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.

After graduating from school, I worked at a city bank. During the changes and busyness of marriage, childbirth, and raising children, I almost lost sight of myself as an individual. It was during this time that I discovered pressed flower art.

I was amazed by the realization that pressed flowers could be used to create expressions similar to paintings. Captivated by this beautiful art, I decided to immerse myself in the world of pressed flowers and continue to pursue its allure. In 2004, I started my journey as a pressed flower designer. Through "pressed flowers”, which capture the momentary beauty of plants, I continue to create works that evoke a sense of love for both the future and the past. Since 2018, I have also been dedicating my efforts to advising and supporting young generations, new talents, and the empowerment of women.
